Our Venue

Set in 5.5 acres of woodland on the beautiful Lumley Estate, Lead Forest School works with a range of clients including schools, education providers, charities and private companies for cooperate events.

Our site, ‘The Ride’ boasts an array of wildlife, native woodland and wonderful flora and fauna.

Our outdoor learning leaders work within our woodland site and also operate along the river where you will see plenty of wildlife including kingfisher, heron, deer and badgers.

The Lumley Estate is also home to the magnificent Lumley Castle dating back to 1389 where there are stories of betrayal, war and the visits of monarchs abound.
